The Renting Process

• Register your personal details and property requirements with Simply Letting
• We will match your requirements with the properties that suit best
• We will organise for you to view these properties
• Once you have decided on a property you wish to rent we will agree the Tenancy details with the Landlord. These will be: Proposed rent, commencement date, term and who the tenants are.
• Once agreed, we will ask for a holding deposit of one weeks rent (Minimum of £200) before the property will be taken off the market.
• All the tenants will then need to complete a form containing basic details which will be used for referencing. The references required will typically be employers, previous Landlords (if applicable) a personal reference, a credit check will also be carried out.
• Once all references have been received and are found to be satisfactory, you will be notified by letter/phone. You will then be asked to come into the office prior to or on the tenancy commencement date to sign the Tenancy Agreement, pay the first months rent and security deposit and take possession of the keys.
